Due to tough competition in the market Tata Docomo today altered its 2G GPRS recharge voucher, RC 48. The change will be effective from 3rd June, 2011.
Tata Docomo Alters RC 48 2G GPRS Plan Pan India
This is the third GPRS pack that has been altered this earlier. Last month RC 95 was rationalized by the reduction of data from 6 GB to 4 GB. The alterations in RC 98 came into effect from 1st April, 2011.
There have been no changes in the RC 65 and RC 140 packs. They will continue to have 2G data usage of 2.5 GB and 8 GB respectively.
The changes in RC 48 pack are not valid for the existing subscribers of the pack. They will enjoy the same benefits for 30 days till the validity expires. Usage after the free limit shall be charged at 10p/10kb. The packs can be used on roaming too (only on Tata Docomo network).
