The Much awaited BlackBerry Torch 9860 (GSM/3G) based on the BlackBerry 7 Operating System (OS) is now available for Indian customers for a price of Rs. 28490. Today BlackBerry Torch 9860 launched in Indian markets by its maker Research In Motion (RIM)
This Smartphone is designed to deliver a fast, fluid BlackBerry 7 experience and comes with a stylish new all-touch design. Its new 3.7” display, is the largest ever on a BlackBerry Smartphone.
On the launch occassion Ms. Frenny Bawa, Managing Director, India at Research In Motion said, “We are very excited to build on the success of the BlackBerry solution in India with the introduction of the new BlackBerry Torch 9860. The BlackBerry Torch 9860 is powered by an 1.2GHz processor, It also has Liquid Graphics and 720p HD recording from the 5-megapixel camera. It also features a HSPA+, and is optimized for displaying the WebPages and multimedia contents and games.
