Reliance Communications, the country’s single largest dual technology telecom operator, introduced CDMA based Android phone D530. The phone is having a built in Android 2.1 version Operating system, and powered with an 800 MHz processor,
Reliance and its Hong Kong Based Mobile phone supplier is planning for a CDMA/EVDO Tablet based on Google’s Android operating system, for the fast growing Indian market at a price lesser than Rs. 10000, by this November.
The attractive features of D530 includes:
- 2MP camera,
- 1280 mAh battery,
- WiFi, Bluetooth 2.0,
- 256 MB of RAM and
- a 3.5 inch resistive touch screen
It is believed that the Reliance’s New Android is aimed to attract youth and lifestyle customers to the otherwise dull un attractive handset offerings in CDMA segment.
Coolpad D530 is available on all Reliance Worlds and Reliance Mobile stores for Rs. 7999, along with a bundled “100% Money Back” Voice and Data plans, in both Postpaid and Prepaid categories.
Reliance also announced two new products from Coolpad, T20 Triple SIM (C+G+G) phone for Rs. 3400 and Coolpad E230 Touch Phone at Rs. 4999 for its CDMA Mobile subscribers.
