MTS, the CDMA Mobile and Data service Provider today declared its partnership with India United to End Polio Now (IUEPN) campaign supported by UNICEF for Polio Eradication Awareness Program by using innovative Out of Home media to create awareness.
The campaign is carried out in mass transport buses that was also started on HOHO bus (Hop-on, Hop-off bus service of the capital) in Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.
Branded buses with messages related to polio eradication such as ‘Polio ka koi ilaaj nahi, 2 boond har bar hai bachav sahi’, ‘Pehle 5 saal, mere bachhon ko 2 boond har bar’ will be seen in public transport buses.
MTS being the communication partners for the program will also send SMSs to all its subscribers in order to spread their word of eradicate polio, create awareness and also to notify them about the Polio Rounds on 26th June, 2011. The SMS would say: June 26 ko apne bachche ka jeevan polio se surakshit banaaye. Har baar Polio ki khuraq pilaaye.
The branded HOHO buses painted with messages of polio awareness and eradication was flagged off from Qutub Minar in New Delhi.
