The CDMA mobile and Data services of Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL), MTS today launched BlackBerry Services along with Voice and Data combo plans for its both prepaid and postpaid customers in India.
MTS Launches BlackBerry Services
The new MTS with BlackBerry Services offers BlackBerry Curve 8530 smartphone for Rs. 14,990 with multiple offers like Free Talk Time, Free Unlimited Internet Plan and one month validity of free 100 SMS from the date of activation. This is an initiative offer to those subscribers who purchase the device from the operator until the 24th of July, 2011.
The offer comes with three tariff plans- Internet Services (BIS) at Rs. 1174 per month, BlackBerry Enterprise Services (BES) at Rs. 1175 per month and BlackBerry Enterprise Services Plus (BES Plus) at Rs. 1176 per month for prepaid customers. For postpaid customers all the plans will be available at a rental of Rs. 1175 per month.
The MTS BlackBerry Services were initially available only in seven cities –Mumbai, Pune (Maharashtra), Delhi, Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai and Jaipur.
All the plans for both prepaid and postpaid users come with ten emails (POP/IMAP) + Unlimited Internet Browsing + Instant Messaging at EVDO speed. The subscribers will also get FREE talktime of120 minutes or 125 minutes/day MTS to MTS, free Talk Value worth Rs. 50 per month and 100 SMS per day both Local and National.
For the activation of Prepaid BlackBerry Service new subscribers must recharge with FRC-97 that provides Life Time account validity of 1p/sec tariff and Free 150 minutes per day for the first two months.
Subsequently the buyer needs to choose any of the BlackBerry plan
starting from Rs. 1174 per month. Postpaid subscribers can prefer any of the tariff plans by dialing 955 from their MTS mobile phone.
