The Countries Pioneer Mobile service provider Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) has unveiled a new value added service plan called “Speed on Demand” for their subscribers in Mumbai circle. The new scheme from Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL) will allows MTNL Broadband customers to increase their Broadband downloading speed to 2 Mbps and the upload speed to 1 Mbps for a certain period on a specified time slot and at a specific predefined price. The pay per use scheme enables users to have flexibility in enjoying high speed broadband access to social networking applications like gaming and downloading movies etc without changing their current low-bandwidth plan.
The MTNL has four differential tariff plans based on the existing bandwidth. The MTNL offers discounted rates for Night hours which starts from 10 PM to 8 AM.
