According to reliable sources Airtel & Tata Docomo will beĀ observing two days of black out in most of the circles they operate respectively on 25th & 26th Oct 2011.
However subscribers of MTNL can be relived as the telecom major has decided not to have SMS blackout day on the eve of Diwali all other leading players such as Idea, Uninor, Reliance, Vodafone have only one day of Black out day i.e., 26th Oct 2011 and as per the TRAI Customer can send unlimited chargeable sms on the black out day.
This is an unique offer as TRAI has recently imposed restrictions on bulk sms. This makes mobile operators to celebrate Diwali with customers by allowing them to send unlimited premium sms.
