Airtel today launched its mobile wallet service, Airtel Money, in Delhi, Noida, Faridabad and Ghaziabad.

Airtel M Commerce Services was given the license in 2010 by the Reserve Bank of India to use the Semi Closed Wallet.
The aim of the service is to provide its customers with an efficient, secure and convenient alternative to make payments through mobile.
Airtel at present has established partnership with around 2,200 merchants in Delhi NCR (which include Organized retailers like Yo China, Easy Day, Costa Coffee, Fun Cinemas and Utility providers such as NDPL, BSES Rajdhani, BSES Yamuna, LIC, Indraprastha Gas and also local chemists and grocery stores.) that will accept payment through Airtel Money.
