Bharati Airtel today launched its 3G Mobile and data Services in Guwahati, Assam.
Airtel’s over 33 lakh subscribers in Assam can now experience the 3G facilities along with fast mobile Internet, video calling, video streaming, social networking, Mobile TV and High definition gaming.
Airtel 3G Services Now In Assam
To activate 3G Services Airtel subscribers must SMS 3G to 121. After sending the SMS customers will receive a confirmation SMS and the 2G Data Plan will be deactivated. The 3G Data Plan ‘Pay As You Go’ will then be activated and all the data access will be charged at 30p/KB.
Customers can choose any 3G Data Plan according to their needs starting from Rs. 9 onwards. 3 local, STD and Roaming video calling charges will be 5p/sec.
Airtel also announced the release of music videos and latest Assamese movie trailers Airtel Video Talkies. Airtel 3G customers will be able to enjoy a number of regional movies on their mobile phones at speeds that they have never experienced earlier.
