India’s National Telecom Operator, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched SMS based activation facility for all the Special Tariff Vouchers launched recently in Karnataka.
BSNL Introduces SMS Based Recharge Facility
The facility enables the BSNL’s users to switch to new Special Tariff Plans and activate Boosters facility with a simple message. for example, to recharge with STV-13 for unlimited free incoming calls on roaming, user can activate it simply by sending an SMS STVVOICE13 to 53733 (toll free).
BSNL subscribers can also save some amount through the SMS based activation of STVs like for the roaming STV-13 the subscriber will only be charged Rs. 11.79 from his prepaid account balance instead of Rs. 13.
The SMS based STV recharge enables its customers to recharge with the STV of their choice or switch to other STV if they have sufficient balance in their prepaid account without going to the Retailer or a BSNL outlet.
