Latest good news for MTNL users in the Delhi circle is that they can now avail default 3G data plans for a discount. Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited has also put a cap on the Unlimited Data Usage Plan. This means that MTNL 3G Subscribers in Limited 3G Data Plans and others can surf the net at high speed from their phones at 1 paisa/12Kb (w.e.f. 1st August ) rather than 1 paisa/10Kb that they used to pay earlier.
Reducing 3G rates has come along with a regulation for Unlimited 3G Data plan users (Postpaid and Prepaid) in Delhi circle starting from 2nd August. Unlimited 3G data usage is provided by only MTNL in the true sense but this plan will soon be shelved. It was introduced in January this year and was extended till August through various schemes. Users will be able to use Unlimited 3G data Downloads for a meager Rs.750 per month.
